    Shopping Mall Energy Node

    By Winged Wolf

This is a large construct designed with a relatively simple purpose: to collect, depattern, filter, and store ambient energy from high traffic public places, making a large quantity of high-quality energy available to whomever has need of it. This is not an original idea, but here are my instructions for making one. Note that information on how to create constructs in general is located in other articles on this site.

Location: I recommend situating this construct either beneath the building, or inside a supporting wall. Some sort of stone, metal, or concrete will hold the energy best. Large indoor shopping malls, concert halls, sports arenas, and other places with very high public traffic will function best. The node itself should be in a relatively out-of-the way area to avoid its being degraded by active energy movement. (Placing it beneath the area solves this problem as well).

Structure: A very dense shell for this construct will be necessary, and strong redundant programming (make at least two copies that check each other often for accuracy). Being in a public place, it must be durable. It should be self-repairing and maintaining. It’s vitally important that you give it a virtually unlimited energy capacity, so that it can retain the energy it collects and will store it properly. This construct should not be intelligent beyond what is needed for it to function and maintain itself.

Programming: The construct should pull in ambient energy that is not attached directly to a person, animal, or object. This energy should be depatternized (there are a variety of ways to do this, including bombardment with disruptive energy, and passing it through a ‘fractal filter’). The depatternized energy should then be processed through a filter to separate out odd energy forms such as earth energy, or other things that energy-workers might have left around which aren’t normally found in the human body. If you want to be sophisticated, have the construct store the energy separately by type–if not, have it discard non-auric energy types to ground. Auric (psi) energy is the type most commonly shed by people, so will make up the bulk of what is collected.

Access: The construct should allow persons to draw energy from it, but resist if the energy level drops to the point where it might risk the construct itself. If you desire, you could key the node to only allow certain people to access it, but this is probably not generally necessary. The node’s energy could be accessed easily within the mall, or via a long-distance link by someone outside of the mall who is aware of it. It may also be possible to program a simple construct embedded in a stone or other object which will maintain a sympathetic link to the node, so that energy from the node could be drawn through the object.

    Have fun! :)
