    Drop and Drift Method

    By KMiller

All students of a form have their own unorthodoxies in training, and I am no different. As a Remote Viewer, I have several methods for different situations. This is one such method. I call this method Drop and Drift, and it is most similar to ERV, although it’s adapted for one man use. As we all know, Remote Viewing is the sensing of a thing or location without the use of physical perception. My most common form of RV is Military Coordinate Remote Viewing, quick, efficient, gets the job done. However, this method is also rather bulky, and doesn’t give much access to the gestalt. That is why I developed Drop and Drift.

Drop and Drift is named for the method involved, namely, dropping and drifting. Recently, however, I’ve revamped it, so there are now two methods that get the same thing done. First of all, Drop and Drift is a trance-based RV System. For this system, you will want to be lying down, but at a semi-incline, such as in a La-Z-Boy chair. You should then proceed to Self Induce a Trance. Music and Visual Trance is not an option, because even Drop and Drift RV is susceptible to Analytical Overlay from the Music or Imagery. This Self-Trance should be done by one of two methods, the two I mentioned above…the first is a generic Overload Trance, as discussed in my article on Trance Induction. Once you have “zoomed” out, simply proceed to “zoom” back in, while repeating the target coordinates.

The second method, taking slightly longer, but much more enjoyable, is “dropping.” Dropping is like falling asleep…it’s where the conscious mind dissociates from the physical body. This can be accomplished by simply laying in a comfortable position and imagining yourself “falling out” of your body…I’ll leave the visualization to you. Once dissociated from the body, I often find myself in a sort of void, with lots of fast moving, colorful, amorphous liquid-looking things, and geometric shapes, although I don’t know for sure if this is some sort of mental region, or hallucination, and I really couldn’t care much less.

In both cases, once departure from the body is accomplished, you simply “drift” mentally to the target. In Method One, it is a simple matter of zooming back in towards Earth, and “landing” at the Target. In Method Two, it’s a matter of drifting through the “haze” while repeating the target coordinates mentally, until you arrive at the destination. In both methods, the images come as if flying out of a cloud, or a mountain with lifting fog…unlike Traditional Military CRV, the images come as one large gestalt, which is uncommon in CRV until it’s performed by someone with a great degree of mastery.

The trick to this method is avoiding dropping or drifting too far. This is a matter of trial and error. If you drift too far, you may fail to wake up while the Target is still in your conscious mind. There is no risk involved, except that the target will need to be viewed again. Otherwise, if done right, you should be able to simply wake up and write or draw your results, in standard CRV format, and carry on. Another disadvantage to this method is that it tends to have a longer recovery time for BiLo, a recovery time of about 10-20 minutes or so, while a skilled CRVer can recover in one to two minutes.
