    Noon Class 8: Constructs

    Teacher: Winged Wolf
    Date: 10/6/2002

    Session Start: Sun Oct 06 12:03:43 2002
[12:04] WingedWolf> Today we start on constructs. Because all of the construct abilities are generally used at the same time, we’ll go over the entire aspect rather than going through one at a time, though of course creating a construct is a systematic process.
[12:04] Michael3_> WW…is it ok if i just watch and listen?
[12:05] WingedWolf> We won’t need partners for the class today. I don’t quite know why someone would want to just watch other people do this, but whatever.
    [12:05] Michael3_> ok……….
[12:06] WingedWolf> Ok, is everyone here able to make a “psi ball”?
    [12:06] Lemmy> yes
    [12:06] Michael3_> yes
    [12:06] _Recoil_> Not me :p
    [12:06] RainTurtle> yup
[12:08] WingedWolf> All right, then the first step will be to make one. First, charge your hands…as you gather energy there, concentrate on how long you want your construct to last. Give it a lifespan of 10 minutes. The field format energy is what controls longevity, so this is the first thing you do when you start to create a construct.
[12:10] WingedWolf> Once you have your hands charged, then you shape the energy…project it from your hands so that it basically pools there, and then project energy from your crown at it, while strongly visualizing the shape you want it to be–in this case, a ball. Don’t use too much force, or you might wind up disrupting it more than shaping it.
[12:10] WingedWolf> At this point, you should have a psi-ball, which you can set down on your desk or somewhere nearby (preferably not on metal).
    [12:11] RainTurtle> ok
[12:11] WingedWolf> After you set it down, you can check for it by bringing your hand slowly toward it until you feel its charge…you can probably make out the shape, as well, but be careful not to put your hand through it.
[12:12] WingedWolf> Everyone able to do this?
    [12:12] _Recoil_> Yup
    [12:12] RainTurtle> *nods*
    [12:13] Lemmy> I think it works
    [12:13] Michael3_> yep
    [12:13] WingedWolf> Ok.
[12:14] WingedWolf> This exercise was mainly to test your control over longevity…something which you probably haven’t encountered in most instructions on making psi balls. It’s often wiser to give a construct a limited lifespan than to simply make it last as long as possible…that way, it can fulfill its function, and it will dissipate afterward.
[12:14] WingedWolf> You don’t have to worry about someone else altering its program, or what will happen to it after you’re done with it.
    [12:15] WingedWolf> Any questions?
    [12:15] _Recoil_> Yeah
    [12:15] RainTurtle> no
    [12:15] WingedWolf> Ask
[12:15] _Recoil_> How would you program it with a limited lifespan
    [12:15] Michael3_> no
    [12:16] Lemmy> no
[12:16] WingedWolf> Recoil, I just gave you explicit instructions on how to program its longevity by concentrating on how long you want it to last while you gathered the energy.
    [12:16] _Recoil_> Nevermind
[12:17] WingedWolf> Has it been about 10 minutes?
    [12:17] RainTurtle> Roughly so
    [12:17] Lemmy> I didn’t feel it after about 1 minute
[12:17] WingedWolf> They should be started to dissipate now, then…
    [12:17] * WingedWolf nods.
[12:17] WingedWolf> You’ll want to practice that, then, Lemmy.
    [12:18] Lemmy> ok
[12:18] WingedWolf> How about the rest of you…are they going, or gone, or still there?
    [12:18] RainTurtle> gone
    [12:19] _Recoil_> Still there
[12:19] _Recoil_> It’s still there but not really a ball shape anymore
    [12:19] * WingedWolf nods.
    [12:20] WingedWolf> All right.
[12:20] WingedWolf> Next, you’re going to make something more complex.
[12:20] WingedWolf> Make this one last about 40 minutes.
    [12:21] Lemmy> ball too?
[12:22] WingedWolf> Hold your hands about a couple feet or so apart, and while you project the energy from them, concentrate on making it last for 40 minutes…at the same time, project from your crown, and send the image of a cat.
    [12:22] WingedWolf> When you’re done, you should have a stationary cat-shaped construct.
[12:23] WingedWolf> Let me know when you are done.
    [12:23] RainTurtle> done
    [12:23] _Recoil_> Done that
    [12:24] Lemmy> done
    [12:24] Lemmy> i think…
[12:24] WingedWolf> Ok. Now, you’re going to add programming.
[12:25] WingedWolf> The first program you will put in will be a self-destruct command.
[12:25] WingedWolf> This will enable you to quickly destroy the construct, if you should happen to lose control of it.
[12:26] WingedWolf> This could be a simple projected mental command, or something along that line…just be careful not to send it inadvertantly after you put the command in. Program in the command by projecting energy into your construct from your third eye, while concentrating on the program.
[12:26] WingedWolf> Your subconscious will fill in a lot of the details…simply think of what you want to happen, and under what circumstance.
[12:28] WingedWolf> After you have put this program down as a foundation, continue sending energy into the construct, while concentrating on having it act like a cat–think of everything you can about how a cat acts, and moves, the sounds it makes, etc. The final command you send will be something like a simple “execute” command, that will allow the construct to start moving around according to the program.
[12:28] WingedWolf> Let me know when you are done.
    [12:28] RainTurtle> done
    [12:29] _Recoil_> Done
    [12:30] Lemmy> done
[12:30] WingedWolf> All right…everyone’s cat moving around and acting cat-like?
    [12:30] _Recoil_> heh
    [12:31] Lemmy> I don’t know…
[12:31] RainTurtle> More or less….it’s closer to Cat-bert than a real cat, by design
    [12:31] WingedWolf> lol
[12:31] WingedWolf> Lemmy, if you reach out, can you find your cat?
[12:32] _Recoil_> My cat is like 3 inches square :)
[12:32] Lemmy> no :) he’s dissapeared or went something and I don’t know how to find him
    [12:33] Lemmy> something=somewhere
[12:33] WingedWolf> Try to send out a command, using third-eye, to bring it back to you.
[12:33] WingedWolf> I probably should have mentioned that you will want it to stay close by.
[12:34] Lemmy> I am feeling something near now… but not sure if it’s my cat
[12:34] WingedWolf> Next, you’ll program in abilities. This is a solar plexus/stream format function. You cannot program a construct to do anything that you, yourself can’t do, because your subconscious won’t have the right information to send to it…there are very few exceptions to that general rule.
    [12:35] WingedWolf> Good, Lemmy…probably it is.
    [12:35] _Recoil_> That limits things :)
[12:36] WingedWolf> Yes…so, now, give your cat the ability to shield itself. You know how to make a shield, so concentrate on how that is done, while sending energy from your solar plexus into the construct…don’t use too much force.
[12:36] WingedWolf> Let me know when you have that done.
[12:37] RainTurtle> Done….and it’s trying to “downsize” the filing cabinet
    [12:37] _Recoil_> Think I did that
    [12:37] _Recoil_> lol
    [12:37] WingedWolf> lol Rain.
    [12:37] Lemmy> I think I did it
[12:37] WingedWolf> Ok. Are there any questions at this point?
    [12:37] _Recoil_> Nol
    [12:37] RainTurtle> no
[12:38] Lemmy> hmm how to check what shape energy is?
[12:38] Lemmy> I can only check if it is there
[12:38] WingedWolf> Basically, you use the input function of the construct shaping ability.
[12:38] WingedWolf> I’ll have you scan your constructs in a moment, to see if you can get those details.
    [12:39] Lemmy> ok
[12:39] WingedWolf> However, the real test of input ability will be in the next class, where you will be scanning your partner’s construct, rather than your own.
    [12:39] WingedWolf> Any other questions?
    [12:39] _Recoil_> Non
    [12:39] RainTurtle> no
    [12:39] Lemmy> no
[12:41] WingedWolf> All right. Now, you know how to scan a person….you can scan a construct or spirit in the same way. Use a light projection of energy, and use energy from each of the nerve clusters, and see what you can pick up. Go ahead and say it in the channel.
[12:41] RainTurtle> Our own critter or others’?
[12:41] WingedWolf> Your own…just check and see if the shape is right, the behavior is what you wanted, etc.
[12:42] _Recoil_> Feels like a cat that’s just been ran over
[12:42] WingedWolf> If it helps, close your eyes to cut down on the other sensory input.
[12:42] _Recoil_> The basic shape is there but it’s like it’s spent 20 mins in a microwave and started to melt
[12:43] RainTurtle> Orangish cartoon-cat with stiff movement, and round shields, wandering about trying to fire/downsize things
    [12:44] Lemmy> I don’t know but I see green egg emiting rays very slowly…
    [12:44] WingedWolf> Ok……
[12:45] Lemmy> It gets brighter after I send scanning energy to it
[12:45] WingedWolf> Lemmy, is there anything else there, besides that? It’s hard to imagine that is your cat.
    [12:46] Lemmy> I don’t know.. don’t get any other information
    [12:46] Lemmy> I think it disapeared earlier
[12:46] WingedWolf> All right..it’s time for the final test, then, anyhow.
[12:46] WingedWolf> Order your construct to terminate.
[12:46] WingedWolf> I guess if the egg obeys, that was it…if not, I think you have something else there.
    [12:47] RainTurtle> dissolved into pixels
    [12:47] Lemmy> :)
    [12:47] _Recoil_> dissolved
    [12:48] WingedWolf> How’s the egg, Lemmy?
[12:48] Lemmy> hmm low signal from egg
    [12:48] Lemmy> and get’s lower and lower…
[12:49] Lemmy> maybe it was my cat ;)
    [12:49] Lemmy> I didn’t tell him what age it should be ;)
[12:49] WingedWolf> Yes, but the self-destruct command should cause it to disappear in the way you programmed it to.
[12:49] Lemmy> but the cats don’t birth in eggs
[12:50] WingedWolf> How did you tell it to destruct?
[12:50] Lemmy> I think I should practice to feel shape of energy
    [12:50] Lemmy> I visualized it disapearing
[12:50] WingedWolf> Ah, Ok…and it is doing so?
[12:51] Lemmy> I think i still get signal from egg
    [12:51] Lemmy> :)
    [12:51] Lemmy> I wonder what it is…
[12:52] WingedWolf> Ok, it may not be the cat….for all we know, it ate the cat. In any case…I think we are done for today’s class. You might want to work on making constructs in between now and the next class, too…just remember to put in a self-destruct command, and do not make ones that replicate themselves.
[12:52] WingedWolf> Remind me to teach you all how to make house shields. :D
    [12:53] RainTurtle> Thanks, Wolf
    [12:53] _Recoil_> Thanks Wolfy
    [12:53] Lemmy> thanks WingedWolf
[12:53] WingedWolf> If the egg bothers you, throw a psi ball at it or something to shoo it away.
