The Psion Guild is a specialist organization devoted to the education, research, support and defense of people who use psionic abilities (psions).
Psionic abilities are a specific subset of psychic abilities focused and directed by the mind and nervous system. Psi energy, in our primary school of thought, is a specific type of energy which is produced by the nervous system.
The Psion Guild demands legitimacy in the practices of its members, assuring its reputation for fairness and reliability which reflects on all members who choose to use their abilities commercially. Privacy and security are also primary concerns. No member who does not wish to be known publicly will be. Names are kept strictly confidential, and the use of a pseudonym is encouraged when communicating with other psions or with outsiders on topics dealing with psi.
